Lymington August 2003
An Event Attended by
New Forest Region JEC
The Lymington show formed the venue for the Region’s August club meeting. This is an event which has been attended several times before by the Region |
The show is a car show with a car boot sale and other attractions and is a major fundraiser for the local Round Table. As can be seen the day |
Was exceptionally hot but we had the gazebo and an excellent turn out. |
There were some superb vehicles to see |
As well as the Region’s display there were vintage vehicles which attracted a lot of attention. |
As part of the entertainment a fine old organ. |
On a sadder note, in memory of Ted Butler, a member who sadly past away this year, the Round Table awarded a memorial trophy for the longest distance Traveled to get to the show. This will be awarded annually. |
Some clubs were more protective of their display space than others were! |
